Firetop Mountain is a guitar driven quartet featuring brothers Michael Sollien and Kim Sollien, Ola Helland-Pedersen and Nils Roland Lier. The music can be classified as indie rock heavily rooted in pop melodies. Some of their inspiration comes from bands like The Posies, Death Cab for Cutie and Radiohead. Formed in Oslo, Norway in the fall of 2006 they quickly started playing live and developed a small following in the country's capital. In early 2008 they started recording their debut album with producer Ørnulv Snortheim (Haddy N'Jie, Erik Faber, Breyma Tei). (show more...)
