Calima began playing chill out and downtempo music in 2001 when he was first exposed to the iTunes station GrooveSalad (SOMA-FM). His immediate love for the music instigated the careful construction of his present chill out and downtempo style. When listening at the various tracks you'll notice a chill out maturity, as some tracks have a heavy jazz or ambient influence while other tracks seem to hit the chill out mark with no external influences.
